I usually chug water, shower and throw on a moisturizing sheet mask so I can rehydrate from the plane ride.
I started using Headspace to meditate. I never thought I could sit still enough to enjoy it, but it really helps me decompress at the end of the day. The guide on the app is great. I highly recommend it!
I listen to music every chance I get!
I was recently in Santorini and fell in love ❤. So beautiful, such lovely people...and the food. Oh my gosh, the food. Here are my Santorini tips!
1. Best meal on Santorini island goes to.... Metaxy Mas in Pyrgos. It is authentic food from Crete (a local favorite) and our only disappointment was that we got full and couldn't eat more! Really, you can't have a bad meal in Greece, but this place was very special.
2. RENT ATVS! Seriously, it was the best way to see the island!
3. Be sure to do Captain Ted's boat cruise. Ask for Captain Theo if you can! I swear it was a highlight of the trip. They do a motorized catamaran and take you around the Island. Smooth sailing and Captain Theo was such an interesting guy. Could have listened to him talk for hours. I wished we booked the boat with him all day and night. He will also grill up some amazing Greek food on the boat. You will not be disappointed!
4. The black sand beach in Santorini is worth a visit. Pretty unique and like most of the waters in Greece, it is crystal clear. But be aware that in Santorini, the beaches are all pretty rocky. It's not one that you will want to walk around barefoot. While you are down there, check out a cool little bar called Tranquilo. They makes fun cocktails from fresh fruit. Beware, they are huge!
5. We went to Santo Winery and Domaine Sigalas. Both are great, but very different. Santo is huge but has the most incredible views. Not "vinyard-y" feeling, but I would say it's worth a visit. Domaine Sigalas is smaller and the only winery in Oia. They have an Assyrtiko wine that won a bunch of awards, it was "the wine" of our trip.
